Charlene started dancing at a very young age and it has always been a huge part of her life. At 14 Charlene went full time at Stonelands school of Ballet and Performing Arts before being accepted to Laine Theatre Arts at 16. Charlene studied here for 3 years gaining a diploma in Musical Theatre. Upon graduating Charlene went straight into filming for the hit Feature Film ‘Mrs Henderson Presents’ starring Bob Hoskins and Dame Judi Dench. Following this she for worked for 15 years in West End Shows , UK and international Tours and TV shows; Including 42nd Street, Cats, The Producers, Joseph, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Love Never Dies, Crazy for You, Funny Girl, Beauty and the Beast, All Star Musicals, Children In Need, The One Show and most recently, Anything Goes.

During her time in 42nd Street, Charlene had her first child and made history by returning to work after 6 months and becoming the first actress to ever job share in the West End! It made headline news!

 

Charlene also has a huge passion for teaching and with her a wealth of experience in musical theatre , jazz and tap she loves passing her knowledge on to the next generation.
