Harriet Dyke

CLASS ASSISTANT

Harriet Started her ballet journey at 4 years old in a dance school in Wiltshire, England. This very

quickly became the most exciting part of her week! At the age of 7 she began Jazz, Musical Theatre, Tap and Lyrical alongside her ballet lessons. When Harriet was 8 years old, she had the opportunity to perform with the English Youth Ballet and was the youngest member the cast!

Harriet continued her dance training alongside school until she was 16 then completed her Level 3 Extended Diploma at college, alongside Healthy Eating. Harriet began assisting her dance teacher at the age of 14, and soon fell in love with it. At the age of 17, Harriet took a team of dancers, with her dance school, to DisneyLand Paris to compete; all dances placed within the top three! She did this again in 2019 with the same success. Harriet has choreographed many routines for shows and competitions and loves coming up with new dance ideas with exciting costume ideas.

In September 2019, Harriet Started training with the Royal Academy of Dance on the Dance Education

Programme; here she gained her Certificate in Dance Education and is now continuing her teacher

training on the Ballet Education Programme at the RAD headquarters in London.

Harriet is very much looking forward to learning more about dance teaching from the other teachers at ADA and is very excited about sharing her passion and excitement for dance with the students.
